Senses Garden

The sensory garden has plants visitors can smell and feel. Aromatic plants including myrrh (Bdellium plant), oranges (Rutaceae) and Lauraceae (Camphor and Cassia trees) are grown in this garden. The texture of bark and leaves are also important features for identifying plants. Visitors can touch the Camphor tree and Chinese Sweet Gum to feel the unique textures of their bark. The information boards in this garden are also in Braille.
